2:57pm – getting reports that Hound Ears Golf Course starting to flood, flooding also on Shull’s Mill Road near Hound Ears entrance. Also report of cars turning around on Watauga River Road due to possible flooding.

6:35pm – via Boone Police – Deerfield will be shut down @ the Moose Lodge.
7:06pm from Boone PD – Deerfield Rd at State Farm Rd and Bamboo Rd at Candy Ln are closed due to flooding. Both will likely remain closed thru morning.
