12noon – as of noon no reports of flooding are coming in other than Boone Mall parking lot facing 321 about to be closed due to high water.

2:57pm – getting reports that Hound Ears Golf Course starting to flood, flooding also on Shull’s Mill Road near Hound Ears entrance. Also report of cars turning around on Watauga River Road due to possible flooding.

3:24pm – high water reported on highway 321 near Staples.

3:29pm – from Boone PD twitter feed – “Water standing in Boone Mall parking lot, US321 (Staples), Deerfield Rd, Bamboo Rd, & Meadowview Dr. Use caution. Turn around, don't drown!”

3:52pm – from Boone Police – RT @boonepolice: Reports of flooding on parts of Meadowview Dr., Poplar Grove Rd. near the connector and Blowing Rock Rd. near the convocation center.

Flood Warning continues until 6:45pm. Flood Watch remains through Thursday.

6:35pm – via Boone Police – Deerfield will be shut down @ the Moose Lodge.

7:06pm from Boone PD – Deerfield Rd at State Farm Rd and Bamboo Rd at Candy Ln are closed due to flooding. Both will likely remain closed thru morning.
