Closings/Cancellations
Due to a large structure fire across from the school and emergency personnel needing to use the school area for emergency vehicles, as well as a section of 194 being closed, Valle Crucis School will operate on a 2 hour delay today, Thursday April 11.
School doors will open at 9:15, tardy bell will ring at 9:55.
If your Watauga High School student gets dropped off at Valle Crucis to ride the bus to WHS, that will also be a 2-Hour Delay as well today. We are sorry for the inconvenience. WHS Administration is aware of the delay in transportation today. No high school students should be dropped off for bus transportation at VC before 9:15.
