From a trail off Brushy Mountain Road in Wilkes County comes this tremendous view of the Queen City.
“McGuire Nuclear Station is in the forefront and Charlotte is behind that” photographer Chris Scott tells WataugaRoads.com of the shot captured last week.
For photography enthusiasts Scott was using a 75-300 mm lens with a 15 second exposure. With the the sun facing uptown Charlotte from the west and his camera on a tripod “you could still see it with the naked eye” Scott adds.
The photo was taken around 5:30-5:45pm.
