Meet the Founder
Kenneth Reece
Founder, Owner & Operator
As a Watauga County native with over 30 years of broadcasting experience, Kenneth created WataugaOnline.com from a simple Facebook page focused on local road conditions. His passion for the High Country and commitment to keeping residents informed has grown into a comprehensive news network.
Kenneth's background spans radio DJ work, news reporting, Appalachian Sports Network talent, and various media endeavors. He also owned and operated a local dump trucking company for 20 years, giving him deep roots in the business community.
“I know this area and I know the residents and businesses that call this area home. We all love the High Country and share the same concern for safe travels and enjoyment of this beautiful area.”
